College Scholarships

College Scholarships are presented to various students at NSU, Conners and Bacone Colleges.

Dictionary Project

For about 20 years the Rotary has given books, dictionaries to every 3rd grader in the district, including Hilldale, Oktaha, Okay, Ft Gibson and Muskogee.

Gospel Rescue Mission

The Gospel Rescue Mission, Inc. is a full service homeless shelter dedicated to meeting the needs of the poor and the homeless of Muskogee since 1931.

Little Nationals Speech Tournament

Muskogee Rotary Little Nationals Speech Tournament is the longest running speech tournament in the state. Rotary has sponsored it for close to 70 years.


The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is a complete scholarship awarded to men and women of high school age who are leaving their junior year and will be next year’s senior high class.

Leon Orphanage

These children are orphaned by their families. Cheryl Spence from Tennessee runs the orphanage. The child in wheelchair is 16 years old with cerebral palsy. The baby has cleft palate. She is awaiting going to the USA. The Shriners will pay for the corrective surgery. All the children here have some type of medical, physical


The picture above is of a young lady & one of her children. See received the bucket filter in the fall of 2015. She lives in El Tunel. We were searching for Leonel a man who had assisted in the past. Yasmina Lopez, her husband & 2 children use the filter on a daily basis. They collect rain water


    The first distribution was at a school in the community of Diriomito located 6 mi. south of Masaya. 51 units were given out during the training session. 284 people were present representing 51 families consisting of 109 children, 175 adults. 3 members of the Rotary Club of Masaya participated in the distribution.
